Once a reqest type is used in Aproval process it does not show up in next aproval process

Hello

I am creating aproval processes for when a programming ticket is opened and one when it is closed. All is going well but on the close one my programming request types do no show up anymore. What am I doing wrong. I want to create several processes on the same request type depending on what the status type of ticket is.
