Hi All, I'm wondering if anyone knows of, or has, a report that will produce the contents of the Request (Problem) Type table in it's hierarchical format in Web Help Desk? We have 800+ Request Types (Problem Types) and it would be useful for our 80+ Technicians if we could produce a report that shows what the Request Types are in their hierarchical format (like this)
Header 1 | Header 2 | Header 3 | Header 4 | Header 5 |
---|---|---|---|---|
Fault | ||||
Hardware | ||||
PC | ||||
HP | ||||
Pavillion | ||||
Chromebook | ||||
Dell | ||||
Printer | ||||
Software | ||||
Exchange | ||||
Axapta | ||||
Service Request | ||||
Stock Request |
But the Request Type (Problem Type) table looks like this
Record Number | Parent ID | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Fault | |
2 | Service Request | |
3 | Stock Request | |
4 | 1 | Hardware |
5 | 1 | Software |
6 | 4 | PC |
7 | 4 | Printer |
8 | 5 | Exchange |
9 | 5 | Axapta |
10 | 6 | HP |
11 | 6 | Dell |
12 | 10 | Pavillion |
13 | 10 | Chromebook |
And producing a hierarchical report is proving somewhat problematic (we've tried Crystal Reports and Excel as that's were our local expertise is)
Any help would be appreciated.
